About Me.
I'm a Cairo-based composer with a passion for crafting music that enhances any form of visual media, from films and TV shows to video games and beyond. My journey began as a guitar player, but my influences quickly expanded to include legendary composers like Thomas Newman, Alan Silvestri, and John Williams. Growing up in an Egyptian family, I was immersed in the rich sounds of our culture, which has allowed me to seamlessly blend both Western and Egyptian musical identities in my work.
My musical repertoire is diverse and extensive, offering a unique blend of elasticity and beauty. I've had the honor of winning prestigious awards, including the Egyptian Film Academy Award and the Catholic Film Festival Award for best scores.
Music is more than just a profession for me—it's a profound love that has guided my career. This passion reached a significant milestone when I composed the original score for "Seeking Haven for Mr. Rambo," directed by Khaled Mansour. This film marked a pivotal moment in my career, as it became the first Egyptian movie in 12 years to be selected for the official lineup at the Venice Film Festival.
